Project Overview

I wanted to see whether it would be possible to generate a full professional-grade video walkthrough of a building just from its floorplan, and on the way try out a few recent AI techniques.

Results were quite good — I was especially impressed by the panorama→splat model (Marble by Worldlabs) and the 3D mesh generation from Hunyuan-3D. Gaussian splats are really interesting and it’s a topic I’d like to explore further.

This demo isn’t quite there for 100% end-to-end walkthroughs, but I actually think it’s possible with the tech available today, with a few months of work.
